Penny Gellatly, Owner & Travel Consultant at Escape by Travel LLC.
I've been fortunate to have traveled since 2002 and look forward to the many new travels that come in my future.   It all started with an "I Do" in St. Thomas USVI at Secret Harbour Resort.
Our company is always learning more and more each day from webinars from suppliers with up coming or changes to any destinations or resorts.  From time to time, we've been fortunate to travel to different destinations for a FAM trip.  Here is where we can visit many different resorts in destination(s) and meet with managers, concierges & wedding coordinators.  We leave those places with a better understanding of the layout of the resorts, how are the beaches for a beach wedding.  They show us many different locations of wedding locations while on property.  We often taste a lot of the different flavors of foods & viewing many off the different rooms.
I'm a Rescue Scuba Diver with a PADI certification that has allowed me to dive with white tip sharks in Costa Rica. I've also have been diving in Mexico & Caribbean.   I can also scratch off my bucket list kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland, eating Haggis in Scotland and we did some ancestry research while chasing cemeteries. I've been thrilled to sail down the Danube River on a AmaWaterways River Cruise.
I have found my true passion for the Caribbean, Mexico & Central America where I have been enjoying a little bit of everything.  I truly enjoy eating, drinking, talking and sharing stories with any and all locals from my destinations that I've visited.  It's the best way to really understand them and how they live.
You can always reach out to me via phone, email, facebook, texting as I keep a flexible schedule to better service my clients.
Keep in mind that when you book with Escape by Travel, you are supporting a local business.  I'm a board member of the Moose Lake Chamber of Commerce.
I'm a proud grandma of 11 grand children.   I'm a proud momma of two dogs ~ Scotty & Sophie.
